Yes, I'm crazy!!

K, so I finally figured out how to get the video of when Emma and I were on the news, at David's homecoming. So here it is:

Idol is right around the corner. NOTHING can compare to last year, but I'm keeping an open mind anyway.... :)

Finale report...FINALLY!!

K, honestly, It's been so depressing, I just haven't had the energy to relive it. But I know someday, Em will want to look back at this, and remember everything!!

So here goes!

It all started on Fri, the week before. Dryers Ice cream, donated a truck load of AI ice cream to "sell" at the Arts Festival, at the High School, $.50 for a cone. So Em, Ja, and I went over to help with that. it was fun! There, I found out somene had donated At-n-tee Go fones(yes I spelled it wrong on purpose), and we had a list going for kids to sign up. So Tuesday, they were planning on watching everything at the High School, but the choir had a concert that had been scheduled the whole year! So they bumped up the concert to 6 oclock, and has tv's in the commons area.

Em and I went over earlier in the day, to get one of the phones, and discovered they desperatley needed help! So the story was, a bunch of people, and one lady in particular, got the idea to send as many go phones to the High School so people could text the votes in. We ended up with about 200. When I got there they still had about 150 to program, and charge. We had to figure out which time zone they were in, if they had unlimited texting, and set up the texting, so people could insert the word vote, with a quick note. Oh, and some of us were setting them to vibrate too. The process of setting up the unlimited texting, was a pain in the rear. We had to call, and set it all up, and it was voice activated, and we were all doing it. So just imagine...

It took about 8 of us- random crazy Archulta fans- (mostly moms my age) about 3 hours to get all the phones ready. Then the party began. Well the choir concert began, while Archie fans gathered in the commons area. When the concert was over, and they were still cleaning up the stage even, they sent to feed into the auditorium, JUST as David was starting his first song.

After the show, voting like crazy began. A local restaurant had even catered dinner for everyone there. They fed about 200 people who stayed to vote. And good food too! Chicken breast in a yummy sauce, beef brisket, yummy rice with a hint of lemon flavor, red potatoes, salad, and green beans with stewed tomatoes. I was kind of shocked! I was expecting spagetti or sloppy joes or something! :)

I had N, P and Em with me, and we stayed and voted until about 9:30. The boys kept slacking, so most of the night, I was double fisted voting. Then after we got home, I grabbed the land line, DH's cell and had mine. The boys voted for a while, but finally fell asleep. Jack tried to get in on it too!

I figured, between all of us, over the 4 hours, and 4 phones, we probably got 1000 votes in. My phone alone I got 800 texts in. Crazy I know, and apparently, not enough...but anyway...

The next day, with a glaze over my eyeballs, we got ready to go to the Delta Center. The thought of going was making me sick, but I knew if I didn't go, I would be SO mad at myself, not to mention Emma! So Em, P and I head out. I toyed with driving or taking the train, but it came down to, I didn't have enough $ to pay for the train, so we drove. Parking down town is HORRID, and always expencive, so I was worried about finding a spot. Well check it out...parked across the street!

The line was wrapped all the way around the building, and EVERYONE had a sign. I was so mad at myself. I am the sign QUEEN! Why had I not thought of making one. I called my sister, she was gonna make one and bring it to me, but she's lives in Montana, so it would have taken too long to get here! ;)

We got in pretty fast, not too bad. The energy was electric! Everyone SO excited, and proud or in love with David! :)

We were excited to see who would be there from Idol . I really thought it would be Carmen R, but it wasn't. We got Matt, from season 3 I think. Anyway, it was so fun, and as we got ready to be on the first time, ecryone one was screaming, and jumping up and down! Matt kept yelling...NO GREEN SEATS!!! So everyone PILED in, and made it look as full as possible. Then we watched the parade of eclectic used to be famous people...just kidding...and most of the summer tour. *rolling eyes*

Then we were getting ready for the big announcent. Matt had everyone ready, kids on shoulder's naked guys with David written on their chests, everyone was huddle in a HUGE mass, and then it came... DAVID......COOK! Seriously...it was like 4000 people were punched in the stomach! Girls were crying, Emma was crying, she cried all the way to the car. Sobbed actually. "I wanted David to win!" Noone even stayed to watch Cook sing. It was kind of funny actually, to watch that many people be CRUSHED, with one word.

I will say, David handled it beautifully. He is so gracious, and a genuinley nice person. And as I have said for years, to NOT win, is better off. He is fine, he will be fine.

The one thing I have been kind of sad about, is how this amazing young man, has kind of lost his old life. He can't go back to school like nothing happened. I have wondered if he could even go to church, or youth conference. SO much has changed, I have been praying he can have some sort normal life. Then today, I came across this. It warms my heart, to see him in this setting, at church, like Idol never happened. Be sure to read the info, on the video. I hope it will warm your heart too!

Here is the story behind the video:

The following letter is from Richard - who is playing the piano in the background!

Hey there, I just wanted to pass on a cool experience I had last night. Yesterday I got a phone call at about 3:18 pm from the Archuleta's. I was asked if I would be available to play for David for a fireside that he was speaking in the next couple of hours. Brett Hales, a friend of the Archuleta's, was asked to speak on trials and how to overcome them. Brett has M.S. and was on a feeding tube less than six months ago and could have been counting his final days, but miraculously now is up and about and doing pretty darn good. He decided to bring David along to share. So, I cancelled everything from my busy Sunday evening, loaded up the kids, and went to this fireside, which was held at a school for troubled youth. It is a 10 month in-house program that helps these kids 'right the ship'. What was interesting about all of this: most of them had never seen David sing because they don't watch T.V. there. This was their first experience of hearing him. David sang "Angels" and "Be Still My Soul" and did an incredible job of telling of his experience on American Idol. I was fortunate to accompany David on both songs. The piano that they had there was not amazing, but it worked out. Be Still My Soul is an arrangement that I did for David a while back. I have included a link for you to listen to this performance. When he sang it, you could just feel the Spirit come over the room. The directors of the school were in tears, because they said these kids don't feel this way very often. It is hard for them to feel the Spirit or recognize it because of their current state and their attitudes. But, it was more than evident that they did. You could see it in their eyes and I can only pray that they find the desire to have it in their lives even more. David was also so good to stay and talk to everyone who wanted to. He signed autographs, took pictures, and just gave words of encouragement for almost an hour and a half. It was so awesome to see his willingness to share. Anyhow, Enjoy! Richard

Ok, so I cried.

Not cuz I wasn't on, it was just touching. I cried, when Clay went home, and Elliot. It's just something about cute humble kids. :) I love how Idol included his comment, about "where did they all park?" I thought that was cute! I loved seeing his limo footage. That was fun, after being on the "outside". :) And I really think he was actually shocked to be in the top 2. After his trip here, I don't know why. Well, ok, Utahans are crazy... but still.

I thought they did a great job, capturing the whole day. I feel bad for Big Budda, he didn't get on at all. Kind of funny actually. He was the main atraction here at home... *chuckle* And the Governer didn't get any air time either. I thought that was interesting. I read somewhere, maybe they(he and the county mayor) need to grow a handlebar moustache, to get on network TV. I thought that was funny!

So it was a great night all around! Can't wait for next week!! Oh, I am annoyed...I tunes doesn't have And so it goes. WTH is that??? I'll keep checking, it has Longer, and the videos. I'm SO not buying the videos. grrrrrrr

Pictures!

I finally got the pictures put into flicker! Check them out! They are on the right...

One 4 middle age mommas, One 4 tweens, One 4 grandmas!

Another amazing night for my sweetie. "And so it goes" moved me to tears. It was SO beautiful. LOVED the accapella, LOVED the echo, LOVED the strings, LOVE LOVE LOVED, everything about it. Can't wait to get the full version. Although, it would have been nice, if he'd gone up to the high note, at the end. Maybe on the full version. Of course, what would a be wednesday if I didn't included it! :)

The middle I didn't like so much, it was FINE, I just like the "gooey" stuff as Simon said. :)

Longer, that has always been one of my favorites! He did it outstanding of course. I thought it was a strange choice, but then realized, it was for a certian demographic! Come on people...

I got well over 200 votes in. Texting... I couldn't get through on the phone at all. I think I only got maybe 4 in on the phone. My sister got through, but she's not in utah. I wonder if that had something to do with it. I don't know. I think I got my share in anyway...

The other two were fine, whatever. :)

Shouldn't have said "puke".

Cuz Emma woke up, and did. But she was fine! Just excited!!!

We went downtown to see him. Oh...my...hell... for many many reasons.

We got there, and realized we were just in time, AND in the right place, to watch him get out of the limo. I was so excited, so I grabbed my trusty camera, with it's all charged up battery, and empty memory card. I get it out, to prepare, and it won't turn on. Yes, that's right ladies, and maybe gents, the freakin camera is BROKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost had a nervous breakdown. Of all the shops around me, none of them sold cameras, and besides, I had three kids, in tow, and didn't want to lose my super excellent spot.

So I just took them with my phone, and now, I can't get them off...my phone. Seriously. It keeps telling me, "not avail able bearer". And the fact that it's an AT&T phone, just kills me. I got some GREAT shots, for a camera phone. *rolling eyes* So I'm working on the pictures. But here is a video I found on utube. I'm actually in it, if you have a magnifying glass, know exactly where I am, and recognize, the top of my head, arm, and hand-holding up my phone to take a picture. :) Actually, if you follow the bald guy(his body guard) I am "behind" his head, I'm there and then he walks by and blocks my head, then I appear again. Ya right, tell me if you see me!! But this video, TOTALLY captured the WHOLE event-and I mean the screaming...

I found another one, that captures, the "wait" for him to get out, ! It was really funny. And it's from the other side of the street, so a different vantage point! Oh, and take note, the screaming, was when the Idol camera popped out of the limo!! So freakin funny!

It was pretty funny! Poor Jack had butts in his face, for like an hour. He was a good sport though. Happy go lucky, as per usual. We never got to see Daivid, to get his autograph, but saw him up close, driving by, flashing that smile!! Emma was SO sad, she didn't get him to sign her shirt. Cried, and cried, and cried-as per her usual drama queen self. :) But when we were heading out, we saw a reporter from our fox affiliate. So I went up to her, and said, wanna get a sad angle?? HAHA...of course she did!! So Emma and I were on a live report around noon time! So funny. I have a friend who has it on Ti vo, and is putting it on a DVD for me! LOVE HER!! So hopefully, I can share it with you guys soon! So Emma left happy, cuz she got to tell david, on LIVE TV, how much she liked him! It was SO cute!

Unfortunately, there were LOTS of grumpy, "I was here first", and "Can I go find my 'kids'". I swear people are idiots. Just be happy and enjoy the moment. sheesh. The poor securtiy guards. I thought one was gonna have a coronary!

My favorite part was just the look on David's face. I got tearing, just knowing how much it meant to him, and his Mom, who was with him. I got to talk to her, for a minute! It was SO crazy!!! If you watch ALL the coverage, for Fox 13, you've seen David get teary too! I can't wait to see what Idol shows!

So I had to go get a disposable camera, for the stuff at the high school. I got one, the proceeds, dgo to breast cancer research. I figured, at least I could do SOME good, with my loser camera! ;) But of course, no I have to get THOSE developed. It never ends... I'm shooting for today, to take them to costco. On the bright side, It will be a surprise, to see what pictures I took!! *rolling eyes*

The high school stuff was so fun! Just to atmosphere. It was a little discombobulated. But still cool!!! Nick and Parker came, cuz I made them. Nick was sitting there all "teenage being forced to do someting" grumpy, and made a snide comment, towards, the screaming girls. I told him to quit it, and then said, "What, don't care, but didn't want to miss it??", he just grinned. It was funny!

I have to say, maybe it was where we sat, but the crowd was generally kinder, at the high school. Don't get me wrong, still tons of idiots, maybe I just didn't come face to face with any. :) I think since it was a bigger area, the screaming wasn't as deafening, and the people not a squished. SO that made it better, and nicer!!

Emma had a blast! Got a little tired of waiting towards the end, but overall GREAT! as we were walking out to walk home, we saw the limo, just sitting there. So we waited for him to come out! SO FUN! but in the process, Emma dropped her shirt, and some greddy brat, stole it. She was SO SAD, dried and dried, again...rightfully so, and then said! "Now I have NOTHING to remember David!!" Oh my... BUT, while I was asking my friend if there were more shirts, cuz some dufus stole Emma's her son said, "Here, she can have MINE! I have another one at home!" How cute is that?!?!?!?

I'll post the pictures when I can get them all!! But here's one to tide you over.

Gonna puke

Seriously, I'm SO excited, I could puke. I wrote on my other blog this, and I'm too lazy to right something new...

And what a day today will be!!! I called it a LONG time ago And then, I told ya'll he would be coming home. Um...that would be today!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So excited!! Even my doubting children are getting excited!! I told them they were coming whether they liked it or not! :)Here you can probably see it all! But I, my friends, will be front and center!!!

Be on the edge of your seat for my report of the days activites!!! :)

If you read the previous posts, you will see I "called" this, 5 months ago. See I have been watching idol since Season two, My Clay came from that one-who was on The View yesterday, BTW...promoting his new album, but I digress. When I heard David was going to be on Idol, I knew they would be doing a hometown visit. I have always loved the hometown visit. It's so fun watching the kids, come out of their bubble, and realize, just how many people love them!!

So for Idol, to be coming across the street(pretty much)from my house, is beyond words for me. This is such a once in a lifetime experience, to have something THIS huge, in my hometown-where I live. It's gonna be a GREAT DAY!!! I can't wait to tell ya'll EVERYTHING!! I've got the camera charged, and the shirts ready!!!

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!

"You won't find a more caring person. That is what a true American idol should be." Archuleta also might appear at an AT&T store at the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake City.

David Archuleta will sing at hometown performances Friday

This is from the paper.. :)

For the first time since he went to Hollywood as one of 24 "American Idol" finalists, David Archuleta is returning home to Utah.
He'll definitely be singing the national anthem at Friday's Utah Jazz-Los Angeles Lakers game at the Energy Solutions Arena.
And there will be some sort of event earlier in the day in Murray, although details of that have yet to be worked out.
Whether he'll still be an "American Idol" finalist on Friday remains to be seen, of course. Archuleta and the other three finalists perform on the hit Fox series Tuesday (7 p.m., Ch. 13); one of them will be sent home when the results of the voting are announced on Wednesday (8 p.m., Ch. 13).
Jazz officials confirmed that Archuleta will indeed sing "The Star Spangled Banner" before Game 3 between the Lakers and the home team tips off at 7 p.m.
And Murray officials have confirmed that an event of some sort will take place that afternoon, most likely at Murray High School.
The event will proceed regardless of the outcome of this week's "Idol" voting.
Details about Friday's Murray event are expected to be announced later Tuesday or Wednesday.

Diamonds in the Rough?

Well, it was interesting...no? But seriously, how cute is he. I just wanna squish him.

Some have said, he butchered "Caroline" Oh please, they just don't like it NOT the Neil D way. I thought he was FANTABULOUS!!! So fun, and showed so much personality!

Cook was good. The others oh my...just send them all home, and get on with it. :) Just kidding...I LOVE YOU BROOKE!! I think Jason has just given up! Goodness!

Oh, here's an interesting article in our local paper. People are SO annoying. It kills me, how they think he can't possibly be that nice! But, I wanted to share it with you, cuz well, WE need to make comments on it, and stand up for our David!! ...mine is the first comment! :)

The War of the Davids

Ok. So I've been having many discussions about my David. :) Here is what I've been saying.

I've said it before, but it will be the battle of the Davids. But here's the thing. Cook will be so much better off, NOT winning. And I'm not just saying it, cuz I love MY David. Look at Chris Daughtry. That boy was able to go on, and do anything he wanted to, and is a HUGE Rock Star now. I just think, Archuleta, fits the AI bill more. He's young, and cute, and can use AI as his catapult, kinda like Kelly Clarkson did. Now I'm not saying Archuleta, isn't talented enough, to do it on his own, but I do think, he is more of an all american role model type. No?

I think Cook is AMAZINGLY talented, I don't really like the sound he creates, but then again, I'm a totally geek, who likes pretty music. :)

Just vote for MY David, and the world will be a better place! :) :)

Um...GUESS WHAT???

Holy Crap. So I'm at a distict PTA meeting yesterday, and I'm talking to the Head of the Arts program in Murray. I've known and worked with her for years. Anyway, she tells me, "Oh, there's David Archuleta's Mom!" I almost died! My friend told me, she voted 200 times, I told her I texted 100. We chuckled about it. Two old ladies voting like that for American Idol! :)

ANYWAY...I told my friends I HAD to go give David's mom a hug! They told me not to embarrass myself! Goodness... So when the meeting was over, a went up to her, and said, "I just HAVE to give you a hug!" I told her how David had sung with my choir a few years ago, and how excited I was that he was on Idol. And now to be doing so well! I told her how proud of him I was, how proud I am of him being true to himself, and being such a good kid! I told her to tell him, a crazy 40 yr old Mom in Murray was proud of him, and voting like crazy!!! :) She asked my name, and thanked me! It was SO great! I almost told her about this blog, but thought I might scare her, I'll save that for our next meeting! ;)

Then as everyone was leaving, I said to Mary Ann, the Arts lady, "So are we gearing up for Idol to come?" She said, " OH MY HECK YES!!! WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!" I told her I would do ANYTHING she needed me to do!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Oh, if you are NOT aware. Idol sends the top 4 home. Um that would be the week after next. Seriously, might puke, I'm so excited.

I'll keep you posted...of course...like I wouldn't!

Oh, and just cuz I'm a MAJOR dorkus. I made a video, just so you can be sure to hear my David!! :) It's hilarious. Well, the song, plus the video, is hilarious.

Enjoy! I am cracking myself up today! :)

Creepy Webber

K, Andrew L We bber has written some of my favorite shows. Phan tom, Joseph(one of my top 5) And music from others. So I was really excited about this week.

That said, I have always thought he was a bit odd. The one fact that he thinks Sara Bri ghtman, is talented...oh sorry... But was he a bit strange last night? Every last statement about the kids he had, was like..."well, if they do this...it MIGHT be good." What the H***??!! Maybe I was in a bad place last night. I'll have to rewatch it. But I doubt it. What did you guys think? He just seemed annoyed, and didn't really have anything positive to say. Whatever...

The David's were GREAT! How fun to see Cook, Singing NON rockish. And how great was "take you were you want to ...BE!!!!" He nailed that! It's one of my favotire parts of the song!

Here's Cook's performance.

Poor Brooke. I just wanna give her a hug. But I think her time has come.I think the stress is getting to her. I thought it was very powerful-emotionally, but it felt a little akward, her singing, PLEASE LOVE ME...into the camera. I still love her though!! :)

Castro, was just weird. Too breathy, too castro, wrong song. He sure is pretty though... :)

Sysha...hum. There is something about her, that sets me the wrong way. I just feel like she's overconfidant. I wasn't feelin it, as Randy would say.

Carly, um...Screaming Jesus Chr ist...ya, not good. I just felt like it didn't fit at all. I know that show, is ALL like that, but...I don't know, is was just weird, and loud.

And my David. Oh that boy! I kinda wish he would show a little more personality though. He is so sweet, and reserved. Of course maybe that's why people love him! But the little girls hugging him? Um...that was annoying...and I think David was so uncomfortable. Ryan can be SO stupid.

As always...if you missed it!

So is "the Lord" gonna sing tonight? Goodness... If Sarah B comes out, I'm gonna puke. *smirk*

Oh, one more thing. Em and I went to preschool reading night at the elementary. She got to make a little book. "I see 1 pink pig...2 yellow bees, ect. And she would glue them in. Well, the last page was "I see lots of _____." So I said, what do you see lots of? She thought for a minute, then I said, how about David? She light up, and drew a picture of David, and wrote his name! She is so funny. She showed the teacher in charge of the activity, who was proud to tell me, her son Cam- yes Stacie, Rachelle:)- is friends with David. And that he texts Cam about once a week! Emma about fell off her chair! It was cute!

Can't wait for tonight!!!

Songwriter contest

So I keep hearing about this song contest for the winner to sing. Well, I had a minute today, and checked it out.

I find it very interesting. The songs American Idol narrowed down to. There are 20 to pick from. If you remember last year. It was down to Jordan and Blake. The song that "won" suited Jordan, NOT Blake. HE knew it, and SHE won.

So this year, The 20 songs are a very interesting mix of ballads-David A, and Rock songs-David Cook. it may be my imagination, you tell me! Some country songs too. But mostly the other two.

Some of them...um...hello??? Did you know what the theme was??? Goodness... It's too bad the winner can't write his own song. YES, I said HIS!

So check it out for yourself. What do YOU think??

Songwriter Contest!

Proud Momma

Can I just say quick, how proud I am of my David. If you watched tonight, Ryan, did that stupid..."You go to which group, you think is the top 3." So David sat down on the stage!!! Someone did that in another season too. I love that he, and the other person, wouldn't go there. Ya know...I think it was Melinda Doolittle...anyone?

So I'm glad Miss Cook is gone. And how cute was Brooke, with Kristy Lee.

Mariah, was ...eh... too much sound effects. I like her when she just SINGS her guts out! Ya know?

Anyway, those are my thoughts tonight.

You got any??? This WAS supposed to be a discussion place...goodness people...

The Davids

Did you watch last night? Oh my goodness. First off, I LOVE Mariah Carey. One of my favs. But...she is SO hard to sing. Her songs... So I was very intrigued to hear how the gang would do!

I should have said before, but I TOTALLY predicted, what David A and Brooke would do. I seriously almost fell off my chair, when Ryan said what songs they were doing.

David, was beyond words. I think it was his best by far. Here if you missed it...I'm here to serve! :)

Brooke, if I'm being honest...;) scared me a little. She seemed so off, and uncomfortable.

David Cook...sure he's talented, but he is just not my cup of tea. I can just see it now, David vs David! How great would that be??? ... and the winner of American idol is... DAVID!!! haha

Can't wait for tonight when Mariah will sing. Dreading the group number...oh my hell. It's weird, I'm a choir geek, but oh how I hate the froup numbers on AI. THey all just try to outsing each other. hate it

I loved Carly, but she seems to be stuggling a bit. Eh...there can only be one winner, right?

So Nick and I are chatting while I write this. He's such a cynic. He's says, "So Mom what will you do if David gets voted off." Um hello??? I voted for him like 140 times last night. Texting. Emma got a few in on the phone. She gets so frustrated when it's busy! So he was saying David Cook was gonna win. Just to anagonize me, of course. But here's my thoughts.

David Cook, doesn't have the "little girl/old lady" vote. Ya know? He is truly talented, but he's a rocker. Cook's fans aren't going to vote 140 times. HAHA...

I'm sad, I know it!

I've probably said this before, but since Clay, in the past seasons there, hasn't been another Clay for me. He sings from the heart, and sings so pretty. Clay made me cry on more than one occasion. Still does. David is my Clay, and he just happens to be from where I live!! It works out well!!

Until next time...

Blech

Girls were....BLECH...

Seriously, what is going on? Brooke, and Carly, were the ONLY ones worth mentioning. The rest were pointless, forgettable, out of tune, horrid, and looked terrible.

Sorry, I know I said I wasn't going to be negative, but HELLO!!?!??! They really need to get better! I don't get HOW, the vocal coach let's them go on with these HORRIBLE songs! Oh, and when I say horrible, it is with an English accent! ;)

Oh, and stupid Fox news here in Utah. They did a story on Brooke, cuz you know...she has family HERE in UTAH! *gasp* Anyway, they did a little blurb on how the judges liked her, and then...I swear to you...the (insert your own negative superlative) reporter says, (using her stupid reporter voice) "Brooke has family in Logan, and is MORMON."

OH MY HELL!!!!! Seriously... I know I'm excited about it, not really excited, just think it's cool, but hey...I'm from the East coast. The only mormons I knew on TV were Donny and Marie! But the "NEWS"?

Come one people...

Now this has nothing to do with Idol, but Fox news again...being idiots. They were covering the tragic story of a high school girl who was killed in a freak car accident. At the end of the piece, the "reporter" said, "She was a VERY popular girl." With an over emphasis on popular. So apparently it is MORE tragic, cuz she was SO popular. If she was a band geek with no friends, no one would care.

*rolling eyes*

K, I'm done.

David...oh my..

So did you watch? Oh my goodness... So the coolest part is... I know him, AND... he is THE BEST ONE!! Comeon people... Simon even said it. Watch the clip, Simon says, "There are 19 other contestants, who are shaking in their boots right now." Or something to that effect.

Anyone wanna have voting parties? Come on...you KNOW you want to! :)

oh and here's the whole video of him meeting season one finalists...It's pretty cool!

Call me a dork...

Sorry, but...
I LOVED a Paula's video!
Here it is if you missed it! So fun! A little reminiscent of her 80's stuff but whatever! And the boys, said..."I didn't know Paula could sing!"

oye...

4 down 8 to go!

I feel good about last night. Like I said, and Simon said, at this point in the show, you can't have an off night. And I think all 4 of them did.

I decided I was only going to be positive on here. I really don't want to trash people. We'll see though! :) I mean, sometimes...they just deserve it! haha...

Until Tuesday... :)

Josiah on Ellen

If you missed it... What a cutie pie. Like Chris Daughtry, I think he is better off, NOT on Idol!

He reminds me of Rufus Wainwright. Both totally under appreciated. Here's one of my favorite songs!

Hmmmm....

I'm not really that impressed. I thought some on the girls...were horrid. Not sure what happened. but EWE!!!!

The boys...eh. Maybe I'm just tired. I can't wait to get the bad ones out.

So here are my favs...

DAVID!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wasn't he AWESOME!!!???? Jason Castro, the guy with the dreads. He was awesome too. And I like Michael, the Australian.

Brooke was great. And I like Carly. They were both AWESOME!! Emma and I voted about 40 times for them, then Emma wanted to vote for Alaina! She was funny!

Hopefully, the bad ones will go home tonight. The thing is, you can have the best voice in the world, but when you let your nerves get to you...you are dead.

And the fact that so many of them are sick. I can't tell you HOW many times, I have sung, with no voice! It is truly a miracle when it happens. The ones that shown through despite their sickness...will get my vote every week!!

Seriously...

HOW GREAT WAS THAT!!??!?!?!?!?!?

Can't even find the words. David was beyond words! Josiah was AWESOME! Brooke? I think that's her name, the nanny from Arizona. She ROCKED!!

Oh my...it was SO GOOD! The best one yet! I'm SO glad they concentrated more on the talented people. I really think this is the most talent, BY FAR. I can't wait to see who is in the top 24, well besides David! :) Now it comes down to who will make a good show! haha

Can't wait for tonight!!

Hollywood week!!

WOO HOO!!!! It's Hollywood week! The week to weed out the LOSERS!!! haha

Seriously though, THIS is my favorite. It really shows whose committed, and who's CRAZY!! Plus it's fun for me to watch the process, and I love hearing them again, and finding new ones too!

This year, they can use instruments! That is SO great. It will really set apart the true musicians. Although, I wouldn't have anything to play, but you get me drift!

I'm excited to see my David again, and so many others! I may just have to take notes this time!!

Rock on dudes!!

HELLO!?!??!

I thought they let WAY too many good ones go tonight. I thought the guy whose wife had the baby was good. I thought the girl in the blue dress was pretty good. Sure she changed key like 12 times, but whatever. The crazy waitress girl wasn't too bad. And there was a pretty girl they didn't put through, btu I can't remember.

So my general thoughts are...they made a mistake on a few.

Oh, and DAVID IS ON IDOL!!!

WOO HOO!!!!!!!

IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!!

OH...MY ....HECK!!!!

SOMEBODY I KNOW IS ON IDOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my....I could not be more excited!!! Be sure to check out his link!

So... I hear he's in the top 24. So when the time comes...WE NEED TO VOTE FOR HIM!! Cuz see...the top 3, AI will come HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I also liked Michael from Australia, andthe girl with the Simon loving sister!!!

Kelly Pickler on Ellen

She is SO funny!!! Check it out...if you missed it that is!

It's TUESDAY!!!

WOO HOO!!!

*sigh*

SO HAPPY IT'S TUESDAY!!

They're in San Diego this week. Should be interesting. I don't think they've been there before. Why...they don't come to Salt lake...is beyond me. "So you think you can dance" is holding auditions here. Maybe Idol will come next yr!!

My favorite is coming...I can feel it! :)

Talk to ya laaaaaattttterrrrrr!!!!!!

eh...

I have to say, no one really stuck out to me tonight. I will say, I LOVED the brother's forever guy sang. MOSTLY, when he was so thankful at the end, and cried! I thought it was SO sweet!!

You know I liked the geeky "candidate guy". That whole thing was hysterical. I'm SO glad they gave him a chance!! He was a cutie.

There was one girl, but I can't remember....so that can't be good can it! haha

What did you guys think?

90 minutes...
